I like to make cool things with awesome people.
Alex DeWitt is a graphic designer, photographer, and artist from New England. He graduated in 2018 from Lyndon State College (now known as Northern Vermont University) with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, with an additional degree in photography he took to keep himself busy. A self described “forever-student,” his goal is to continue learning and experimenting with the world around him, with a focus in the visual arts.
He has worked briefly in the print business, interning at Eagle Time’s Publishing, assisting in the creation of graphics and newspaper layouts. He worked as a graphics intern in the Office of Communications and Marketing at his college where he aided with the rebranding efforts to transform Lyndon State College and Johnson State College into Northern Vermont University. He also interned with Ideometry, working remotely to help create hundreds of advertisements for both print and digital applications. More recently, he has been working part-time as a freelance designer, taking a small handful of small clients to keep his skills sharp while preparing to leap into the industry.
Outside of visual arts, Alex enjoys reading old books, cooking a wide range of tasty dishes, and studying any subject that catches his attention. He is an Eagle Scout, and has worked in many leadership positions since his youth, and has been a tech nerd since he was five years old. Late at night, you can catch him playing Dungeons and Dragons with his friends.
